Large, high-contrast keys, adjustable caption text size and colours, and a built-in speakerphone keep everyday calling simple. The answering machine shows captions of your voice messages too. The 840i connects to your telephone line and to the internet over Wi-Fi or Ethernet; captions are generated live by a captioning service. Captioned calling services are country-specific (in the United States the service is free of charge through an FCC-funded program), so please check availability in your country before ordering.
